Summary. Leiomyoma is the most common type of mesenchymal tumor in esophagus (70-80 %) and second (about 45 stomach. But last 20 years, we can find only a small number publications devoted to them. And it leiomyoma mainly became subject differential-diagnostic comparison when evaluating other subepithelial neoplasms.
 Aim. Based on our own experience treating patients with upper gastrointestinal tract, as well being guided by current clinical recommendations related diagnosis treatment SEP, will develop diagnostic therapeutic algorithm that help optimize management tactics tract.
